How we prepare and review our guides.
Our financial content is designed to help UK homeowners understand secured borrowing, compare options and know which questions to ask before making a decision.
Policy reviewed 17 August 2026Who writes and reviews the content
Guides are prepared and editorially reviewed by Arrow Loans. We use organisation-level authorship because the content is owned and maintained by the business rather than attributed to an invented or unverified individual author.
Pages show their original publication date and the date of the latest editorial review. A review checks that the explanation remains clear, balanced and consistent with the sources listed on the page.
Sources and accuracy
For regulatory, consumer-protection and economic information, we prefer primary or authoritative UK sources such as the Financial Conduct Authority, its Handbook, the Bank of England, MoneyHelper, the Information Commissioner’s Office and the Financial Ombudsman Service.
Where figures, product terms, rates or rules can change, readers are directed to a current official source or personalised information. Illustrations are labelled as examples and are not presented as quotations or lending decisions.
Balanced financial information
Secured borrowing is not suitable for everyone. Our guides explain relevant costs, affordability, alternatives and the risk to a homeowner’s property. We distinguish clearly between Arrow Loans acting as a direct lender and acting as a credit broker or introducer.
The guides provide general information, not personal financial advice. A lending decision depends on individual circumstances and the terms available at the time.
Updates and corrections
We review content when a material rule, official source or product explanation changes, and periodically review longer-lived guidance. If you believe a page is inaccurate or unclear, email info@arrowloans.co.uk with the page address and the point you would like us to check.
